PENDLETON. If old-fashioned Southern cookery is what you crave, this humble-yet-friendly dining room on the outskirts of Pendleton serves up just that. The servers smile and "Hey, y'all" frequently, and though regulars do get special treatment, new customers receive first class care as well. Food is doled out cafeteria-style, and, oh, what good food it is – homemade mac-n-cheese, tomatoes-n-okra, fried chicken, green beans, and so on.
